MODENAS Expands Z15GT Community Engagement at Malaysian Cub Prix Round 4 in Batu Kawan

BATU KAWAN, 16 August 2026 – Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (“MODENAS”) continued to strengthen its engagement with Z15GT owners during Round 4 of the PETRONAS MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2026 at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang.

Building on the community momentum established in Tangkak, Sepang and Jempol, Z15GT owners once again travelled together to the race venue through a community-led convoy organised under the LokalLagiSyok banner.

The Batu Kawan programme marked the fourth stage of the community’s season-long journey, bringing owners together through a shared riding experience, race-day participation and engagement with stakeholders across the wider Malaysian motorsports ecosystem.

Northern Convoy Begins at Juru

The programme began at R&R Juru Southbound, where the first group of participants gathered from 10.00am before departing at 10.30am for Kak Sue Kitchen.

The initial ride provided an opportunity for participants to travel together in an organised formation while building anticipation for the day’s community and race activities.

Z15GT community members from the Central, Southern and East Coast regions gather for a group photo at R&R Juru Southbound before continuing their journey to Kak Sue Kitchen.

Community Rendezvous at Kak Sue Kitchen

Kak Sue Kitchen served as the central rendezvous point for the Round 4 convoy, bringing together Z15GT owners and participating riders arriving from different locations.

The riders who departed from R&R Juru joined the other participants at the venue at approximately 11.00am, completing the full community gathering before the journey to Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang.

A shared lunch at Kak Sue Kitchen brings the wider Z15GT community together ahead of the final convoy leg to the race venue.

Over lunch, participants had the opportunity to connect with fellow owners, welcome new members and strengthen relationships within the growing Z15GT community. The relaxed gathering also provided a shared space for riders from different groups and locations to come together under the LokalLagiSyok banner.

The Kak Sue Kitchen gathering demonstrated how the convoy has grown beyond a journey to the race venue, becoming a meaningful owner touchpoint where participants can build friendships and strengthen a shared community identity.

One round closer to completing the journey—riders register and collect the fourth of eight limited-edition patches under the “Jelajah 8 Pusingan, 8 Patches” initiative.

At 1.45pm, all participating riders departed together from Kak Sue Kitchen for the final convoy leg to Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, arriving at approximately 2.00pm for the afternoon programme.

Participants also continued their progress under the “Jelajah 8 Pusingan, 8 Patches” initiative, with the limited-edition Round 4 patch marking their physical participation at Batu Kawan.

The initiative encourages owners to participate throughout the eight-round Malaysian Cub Prix season, with a different collectible patch issued at each round. Participants who complete all eight rounds and collect all eight patches will qualify for an exclusive collector’s reward.

Engagement Across the Race-Weekend Ecosystem

Inside the Pro-Am paddock, the Z15GT community poses with MC Tajam Racing Team Principal Mohd Nizam and Raynorton Motorsport Team Principal Syafie.

Upon arriving at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, MC Tajam Racing Team Principal Mohd Nizam first led the community on a visit to the team’s pit area.

Participants were given a closer look at the team’s race operations, technical preparations and the race-prepared MODENAS Z15GT competing in the Pro-Am category. The pit visit brought owners closer to MODENAS’ motorsports programme and provided greater insight into how the motorcycle they ride is prepared and developed for competitive racing.

The convoy then continued with scheduled visits to the PETRONAS, PERKESO and Eastel booths, creating additional opportunities for owners to engage with stakeholders across the wider race-weekend ecosystem.

Race-day engagement extends beyond the circuit as the convoy meets Encik Adnan Khafiz of PETRONAS Lubricants during community visit to the PETRONAS booth.

At the Eastel booth, participants showed their support for the TKKR Racing Team, which competes in the CP150 category using a race-prepared MODENAS Z15GT. While MODENAS’ official racing support for the 2026 season remains focused on the Pro-Am category, the visit reflected the wider support shown by Z15GT owners towards teams competing with the platform.

Following the engagement activities, participants gathered to watch the afternoon races before the programme concluded at approximately 6.00pm.

Connecting Ownership with Motorsports

The Round 4 activation further demonstrated how Malaysian Cub Prix race weekends can serve as meaningful gathering points for owners, racing teams, industry partners and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Through the LokalLagiSyok community-led platform, Z15GT owners are able to experience the model’s motorsports journey more closely while building stronger relationships with fellow riders.

From the grandstand, Z15GT owners cheer on the competing teams as the Round 4 action unfolds at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang.

The initiative complements MODENAS’ participation in the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship by connecting competitive racing visibility with real-world ownership, community pride and grassroots participation.

The Z15GT continues to serve as an important platform for MODENAS to engage Malaysian riders while strengthening the relationship between local product identity, owner experience and motorsports development.

Continuing the Community Journey

The Batu Kawan programme marked the halfway point of the “Jelajah 8 Pusingan, 8 Patches” community journey.

Following four rounds in Tangkak, Sepang, Jempol and Batu Kawan, the Z15GT owner community will continue its journey at Round 5 of the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2026 at Litar Permotoran Terengganu on 29 August 2026.

MODENAS will continue supporting its Malaysian Cub Prix campaign while strengthening engagement with Z15GT owners, racing teams and community groups across the remaining rounds.
